Hi, I’m Courtney. Here’s a little about the person behind Blu.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I’m the person who genuinely enjoys taking all the moving pieces, the half-finished ideas, the overflowing lists, and the “we really need to figure this out” projects and turning them into something that actually makes sense.
That’s a big part of how Blu Creative came to be.

I’m a business owner, a mom, an organizer by nature, and a creative thinker who loves working behind the scenes. I like figuring out how things can run better, what can be simplified, and how to take something from we should really do this to it’s handled.
But there’s another part of how I work that matters just as much.

I’m a mom, and flexibility is incredibly important to me. Building my own business has taught me that great work and a full life do not have to compete with each other.

I believe you can care deeply about your work, communicate well, meet deadlines, and run a successful business without creating a culture where everything feels urgent all the time.

That’s why I tend to work best with other people-first business owners who value trust, flexibility, communication, and the understanding that we are humans before we are businesses.

And when I’m behind the scenes of your business...

I’m probably organizing something, asking the question no one thought to ask yet, figuring out a better way to do something, or quietly making sure all the little pieces actually get where they need to go.

I’m based in Rochester, NY, but work with businesses near and far. And while every client and business looks a little different, the goal is usually the same: less chaos, more clarity, and a business that feels a little lighter to run.

A few things you should know about me:

I’m a mom first. Flexibility matters to me, both in life and in business.

I love making things make sense. Give me a messy process, scattered notes, or a project with too many moving parts and I’m probably already thinking about how to organize it.

I work best with good people. Kindness, trust, communication, and mutual respect matter just as much to me as the work itself.

I believe systems should make life easier. If a process creates more work than it solves, we probably need a better one.

I’m equal parts organized and creative. I love the structure of operations just as much as I enjoy the creative side of building a business.

I’m based in Rochester, NY. But Blu Creative was built to work virtually, so I get to support businesses wherever they happen to be.
